ROV Courses

On January 16 a group of students, consisting of 4 employees of SVAROG company, completed training on the program, developed in accordance with Table R03 IMCA C 005 Rev.3 "Guidance on Competence Assurance and Assessment" for acquisition of “ROV Pilot Technician Grade I" certificate.

Students, permitted to perform training, who are holders of “ROV Pilot Technician Grade II” certificates, and having experience of work as ROV Pilots Technician Grade II and skills in practical operating of ROV.

Part of the students were trained as “ROV Pilot Technician Grade II” in The Underwater Centre, Fort William, Scotland.

On the first step of training students received a personal account in the Distance Learning System, with the use of which they achieved theoretical knowledge on the following topics:

- Training in High Voltage Electricity
- Training on Hydraulic Systems.

On the second stage, during 3 days, they received practical face-to-face training on the ground, in the classroom of simulator training and in the multimedia classroom of STORM Training Center.

During the course students received additional knowledge and skills in the field of the operation safety, risk assessment, fault finding, ROV piloting and other questions.

Students assessed the quality of training in STORM at a high level.


At the end of training each student was issued:

- Filled in “IMCA ROV Personnel Logbook”;
- "ROV Pilot Technician Grade I" certificate;
- "Training in High Voltage Electricity" certificate;
- "Training on Hydraulic Systems" certificate.
